The Java Sparrow
The Java Sparrow comes from Indonesia and is also known as the Padda Bird.
It has also been introduced to other countries in the region and Asia and has thrived virtually everywhere it has gone.
The wild form is grey and not entirely attractive, however a much more attractive white variant has been bred and this is what aviarists and bird fanciers prefer.
