The Bengalee
This species is a fertile little hybrid developed by the Japanese, who have produced the three well known forms of the Bangalee.
... these being the white pied with purplish brown, the patches of colour being chiefly on the crown; the white pied with fawn; the third is pure white. All three are seen here.
